Dishwasher operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter “Safety” from page EN-4, in
particular the safety instructions.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter “Set-up, connection
and initial start-up” from page EN-27.
• Refill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multitabs.
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Open the appliance door.
3. Press the button (7) to switch on the
dishwasher.
You will hear a signal tone and all LEDs
will illuminate briefly. The LED (6) lights up
continuously and the display shows “
– ¦ – –
”.
Protecting the environment
– The ECO programme is the most efficient
programme for cleaning normally soiled
dishes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
– If you keep to the maximum specified ca-
pacity when loading your appliance and
you arrange the dishes correctly, energy
and water can be saved (see “Loading the
dishwasher” on page EN-17).
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to
higher water and energy consumption and
is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance gen-
erally uses less energy and water than
washing by hand, provided you follow the
instructions in the user manual.
Selecting the dishwashing
programme
It is recommended that you carry out a
test run before the
fi
rst dishwasher cycle
in order to remove residues from the manu-
facturing process and in order to ensure that
the appliance functions perfectly. Carry out
this test run when the dishwasher is empty
and without any dishwasher detergent.
1. Select the suitable dishwashing programme
based on the “Programme table”, see
page EN-20.
2. Press the button (12) of the desired pro-
gramme.
The LED (1) of the selected programme is
illuminated, and the display (2) shows the
duration of the selected programme (for
example with the Eco programme:
3:10
).
3. If you
– would like a delayed start, please select
“Delayed start” (see page EN-22).
– would like a particularly dry result,
please select the option “Extra drying”
(see page EN-22).
– have only loaded the dishwasher half
full or with less than 6 place settings,
please select the option “Half load” (see
page EN-22).
– launch it, continue with “Starting the
dishwashing programme” on page EN-22.
