Safety
Intended use
This appliance is designed exclusively for
cleaning/rinsing ordinary household quan-
tities of dishes in private households. The
maximum number of place settings is 14.
The appliance is not suitable for commercial
applications or shared use (e.g. use by sev-
eral parties in a block of flats).
The appliance is only intended for use
– in frost-proof and dry indoor areas during
stationary operation (e.g. no ships).
– at a water pressure of 0.4 to 10 bar (0.04
to 1.00 MPa)
– up to a maximum height of 4000 m above
sea level.
Prior to use, the appliance must be properly
installed in a kitchen unit.
People who are unable to operate the appli-
ance safely due to their physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of knowledge must be
supervised during use.
Do not make any technical changes to the
appliance.
Only use the dishwasher as described in this
user manual. Any other use is deemed im-
proper and may result in damage to property
or even personal injury. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for damage caused by im-
proper use.

The following symbols can be found in this
user manual.
WARNING!
This symbol indicates a hazard with a medi-
um level of risk which, if not avoided, could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION!
This symbol indicates a hazard with a low lev-
el of risk which, if not avoided, could result in
minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE
This symbol warns against possible damage
to property.
This symbol refers to useful additional
information.
Definitions
“Place setting” means a set of tableware in-
tended for use by one person, excluding serv-
ing dishes.
“Operating cycle” means a complete clean-
ing, rinsing and drying cycle, depending on
the selected programme, covering a series of
operations until the end of all activities.
“Programme duration” means the period from
the start of the selected programme, without
any preset time programmed by the user, until
the notification of the end of the programme,
from which point the user has access to the
tableware.
“Preset time” means a state in which the user
has postponed the start of the operating cy-
cle of the selected programme for a certain
period of time.
