Dishwasher operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter „Safety“ from page EN-4,
in particular the safety instructions.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter „Set-up, connection
and initial start-up“ from page EN-28.
• Refill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multi-tabs
(see „Dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts“ on page EN-13).
Preparation
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Open the dishwasher door.
3. Press the button (8) to switch on the
dishwasher.
You will hear a signal tone and all indica-
tors will illuminate briefly. The indicator (7)
lights up continuously and the display
shows "– : – –".
Protecting the environment
– The ECO programme is the most efficient
programme for cleaning normally soiled
dishes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
– If you keep to the maximum specified ca-
pacity when loading your appliance and
you arrange the dishes correctly, energy
and water can be saved (see „Loading the
dishwasher“ on page EN-17).
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to
higher water and energy consumption and
is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance gen-
erally uses less energy and water than
washing by hand, provided you follow the
instructions in the user manual.
