Adding dishes
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
If you open the dishwasher door,
hot steam will come out.
■
Maintain a suffi cient distance from
the door and do not hold your head
or upper body directly above the
open door.
■
Keep children and pets away from the
appliance when opening the door.
■
Make sure that children do not open
the door during operation.
You can add more dishes even if the dish-
washing programme is already running.
In this case, the current dishwashing pro-
gramme should only have been running for
a short time, as only then can the additional
dishes be cleaned.

1. Press the button (6) in order to interrupt
the dishwashing programme.
The remaining duration display (16) will re-
main permanently illuminated.
2. Open the dishwasher door slightly and
wait until the spraying arm has come to a
standstill and the steam has dispersed.
3. Slowly open the door all the way.
4. Add the dishes.
5. Close the door.
6. Press the
button (6) once again.
After approximately 10 seconds the appli-
ance will continue the programme.
A signal tone will sound at regular
intervals while the dishwashing pro-
gramme is paused.

The dishwasher buttons can be locked,
e.g. for childproofing purposes.
• To switch the button lock
– on, press the (2) und (3) buttons
simultaneously and hold them pressed
in until the lock symbol (15) appears in
the display. The buttons are locked.
– off, press both buttons again and hold
them pressed in until the lock symbol
disappears from the display. The buttons
are unlocked.
