Changing the dishwashing
programme
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
If you open the dishwasher door,
hot steam will come out.

Maintain a suffi cient distance from the
door and do not hold your head or up-
per body directly above the open door.
■
Keep children and pets away from the
appliance when opening the door.
■
Make sure that children do not open
the door during operation.

You can interrupt an active dishwashing pro-
gramme at any point and start a new one.
However, do not forget to add extra dish-
washer detergent if the programme has al-
ready been running for a longer period and
the cover of the dishwasher detergent com-
partment is already open.
1. Press the
button (6) in order to inter-
rupt the dishwashing programme.
The remaining duration display (9) will re-
main permanently illuminated.
2. If required, add extra dishwasher detergent.
3. Press the
P
(4) button until the programme
symbols (10) go out and the remaining
duration display (9) is set to ‘zero’.
4. Select the new programme with the
P
(4)
button.
5. Select additional options if required,
as described on the previous pages.
6. Press the
button (6).
The newly selected dishwashing pro-
gramme will start.
Adding dishes

You can add more dishes even if the dish-
washing programme is already running.
In this case, the current dishwashing pro-
gramme should only have been running for
a short time, as only then can the additional
dishes be cleaned.

1. Press the button
(6) in order to inter-
rupt the dishwashing programme.
The remaining duration display (9) will
remain permanently illuminated.
2. Open the dishwasher door slightly and
wait until the spraying arm has come to a
complete stop.
3. Slowly open the door all the way.
4. Add the dishes.
5. Close the door.
6. Press the button
(6) again.
After approximately 10 seconds the appli-
ance will continue the programme.
A signal tone will sound at regular inter-
vals while the dishwashing programme
is paused.
