Decommissioning
EN-15
How to set the temperature:
• Set the temperature controller
1
to ‘MED’. This setting is suffi-
cient for normal ambient temperatures if you do not open the
freezer door too frequently or for a prolonged period, and always
close it properly.
– To set a higher temperature, turn the temperature control-
ler
1
towards ‘MIN’.
– To set a lower temperature, turn the temperature control-
ler
1
towards ‘MAX’.
• Adjust the freezer temperature to suit the increasing ambient
temperature (e.g. in summer towards ‘MAX’).
If you set a lower temperature, you will need higher
cooling performance. This increases the energy con-
sumption.

Decommissioning
If you do not want to use the empty freezer for an extended period,
switch it off in the following way:
1. Remove all food from the freezer and store it in a cool place
so that the food does not spoil.
2. Pull out the mains plug to switch off the freezer.
Notice: If you set the cooling power to ‘MIN’, the freezer is not
switched off.
3. Remove the drawers
2
from the freezer.
4. Clean the freezer. (See chapter ‘Cleaning and maintenance’,
page EN-18.)
5. Leave the door open slightly to avoid mould formation in the
interior.
You have now decommissioned the freezer.
