Cleaning the front of the
appliance and the door seal
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Improper use of this appliance may
lead to electric shocks.
■
Switch off the appliance before clean-
ing, and pull the mains plug out of the
socket and/or disconnect the fuse.
■
Never spray the device with a water
jet (high-pressure cleaner).
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The seals of the door are sensitive to oil
and grease. The door seals can be dam-
aged by unsuitable cleaning agents.
■
Do not use harsh, aggressive, solvent-
based or abrasive cleaners.
■
Do not grease the door seals.
If water gets into the lock, the lock and
the electric components in the door
may become damaged.
■
Use a damp cloth to clean the inner
edges of the door.
■
Do not use any cleaning sprays.
1. Wipe the front of the appliance with a
damp cloth and some all-purpose cleaning
product and wipe it off with a dry towel.
2. Clean the door seal and the inside of the
door regularly with a damp cloth.
Checking and cleaning the
filters
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Using the appliance without the fi l-
ters or with improperly fi tted fi lters can
cause the dishwashing performance to
be impeded or may damage the device.
■
Prior to launching a dishwashing pro-
gramme, always ensure that the fi l-
ters have been correctly installed in
the appliance.
■
Clean the fi lters at least once a week.
■
Clean the fi lters with care; do not
bend them.
■
If you replace the fi lters, always use
genuine replacement parts.

Check the coarse filter (40), the main fil-
ter (41) and the fine filter (42) after each rinse
cycle and remove food residues and foreign
bodies if necessary:
1. Empty the lower dish rack and remove it.
2. Turn the coarse filter (40) in an anti-clock-
wise direction and remove the filters in an
upward direction.
3. Clean the filters carefully under running
water.
4. Replace the filters and turn the coarse fil-
ter in a clockwise direction up to the stop
point.
