Dishwasher operation
Signal tones
The appliance sounds a signal tone when
buttons are pressed. This tells you that the
appliance has understood your action.
A signal tone also sounds at the end of the
programme run.
If you pause a programme run for an extend-
ed period, a signal tone sounds to remind you
to continue the programme run.
Display
The display informs you of the current status
before, during and after the programme run.
To save energy the display switches off while
the programme is running. Briefly press the
button (10) to switch the lighting on again.
Selecting the dishwashing
programme
It is recommended that you carry out
a test run before the
fi
rst dishwasher
cycle in order to remove residues from
the manufacturing process and in order to
ensure that the appliance functions per-
fectly. Carry out this test run when the dish-
washer is empty and without any dishwasher
detergent.
1. Select the suitable programme based on
the ‘Programme table’, see page EN-21.
2. Press the
P
(2) button or (3) as often as
required until the display shows the de-
sired programme symbol (12) and the
programme duration (14).
3. For the washing programme,
– if you wish to make further adjustments,
continue with „Additional options“.
– if you wish to launch it, continue with
„Start the programme run“ on page EN-25.
Additional options
You can combine the various dishwash-
ing programmes with additional options.
The additional options must be selected be-
fore starting the dishwashing programme.
Intensive cleaning
This option allows you to further improve the
cleaning results.
