Dishwasher operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter „Safety“ from page EN-4,
in particular the safety instructions.
• Set up and connect the appliance as de-
scribed in chapter „Installation, fitting and
connection“ on page EN-28.
• Refill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multi-tabs.
Protecting the environment
– The ECO programme is the most efficient
programme for cleaning normally soiled
dishes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
– If you keep to the maximum specified ca-
pacity when loading your appliance and
you arrange the dishes correctly, energy
and water can be saved (see „Loading the
dishwasher“ on page EN-17).
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to
higher water and energy consumption and
is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance gen-
erally uses less energy and water than
washing by hand, provided you follow the
instructions in the user manual.
Selecting and starting the
dishwashing programme
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Open the dishwasher door and add dish-
washer detergent/multi-action tablets,
rinse aid and dishwasher salt as required.
3. Press the (1) button to switch on the
dishwasher.
You will hear a signal tone and all indica-
tors will illuminate briefly.
After a short time, two dashes ‘– –’ will ap-
pear on the (6) indicator.
4. Select the appropriate dishwashing
programme using the dishwasher pro-
gramme table on page EN-21. Push
the

(3) button until the (6) indicator
shows the desired programme number

).
5. Close the dishwasher door.
The programme will start after a few
seconds.
Additional options
You can combine the various dishwash-
ing programmes with additional options.
The additional options must be selected be-
fore starting the dishwashing programme.
