The hob
is always around 2 cm smaller. Pots that
are too big can damage paintwork.
Energy- and time-saving pressure
– cookers are also well-suited. The relative-
ly high purchase costs are quickly saved
again.
– Steel pots and pans as well as coated
and uncoated aluminium cookware with
a thick base. However, coated cookware
must not be overheated or scratched.
You should not use:
– dented or bulging pots,
– pots with a rough base,
– pots with a curved base,
– coated cookware that is scratched inside.
Cooking zones and dials
The hob has four cooking zones. A dial in the
control panel is assigned to each cooking
zone.

• Turn the dial to the desired level of heat
as needed. You will find the heat settings
on the switch:
“1” = lowest heat setting
“6” = highest heat setting
“●” = off.
The control light

The yellow control light (16) will illuminate as
soon as at least one of the cooking zones or
the appliance is switched on. It will switch off
again when all of the cooking zones and the
appliance are switched off.
The residual heat indicator
(5)
The residual heat indicator (5) will stay illu-
minated for as long as the corresponding
cooking zone remains hot. In this way, the
device warns you against possible burns and
indicates that you can still use residual heat.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
Following a power interruption, the re-
sidual heat indicators do not light up
again. Residual heat may not be indi-
cated.

Do not touch the cooking zones fol-
lowing a power interruption.
