Safety
■
Connection to the mains supply may
only be made by an authorised elec-
trician approved by the local energy
supply company (see „Our Service
Centre“ on page EN-25). Only then will
you benefi t from our warranty and a
suffi cient level of safety. Unauthori-
sed persons may not connect the ap-
pliance to the mains supply. You can
endanger your life and that of subse-
quent users! This also applies to dis-
connection from the power supply
and dismantling the old appliance.
■
Since all poles of the appliance can-
not be disconnected from the mains
via an accessible disconnecting de-
vice, an all-pole disconnecting device
in accordance with overvoltage ca-
tegory III must be connected within
the house installation with at least 3
mm contact clearance; this includes
fuses, miniature circuit breakers and
protective devices.
■
Do not extend or modify the mains
connection.
■
Before connecting the device, switch
off the relevant electric circuit(s)
(switch off circuit breakers or unscrew
fuses).
■
Never open the housing.
■
Never try to repair a defective or
suspected defective appliance your-
self. You can put your own and future
users’ lives in danger. Only authori-
sed specialists are allowed to carry
out this repair work.
■
The appliance is not intended to be
operated by means of an external ti-
mer or separate remote-control sys-
tem.
■
Do not put any objects in or through
the housing openings and also make
sure that children cannot insert any
objects through them.
■
Ensure that the appliance is switched
off before replacing the lamp to avoid
the possibility of electric shock.
■
To replace the oven lighting, fi rst
switch off the oven then unscrew
and/or switch off the fuses. Replace
the light bulb only when the oven is
no longer hot.
Risk of burns!
The appliance and its accessible parts
become hot during use.
■
Care should be taken to avoid
touching heating elements inside the
oven.
■
Children less than 8 years of age shall
be kept away unless continously su-
pervised.
Fire hazard!
Unattended cooking on a hob with fat
or oil can be dangerous and may result
in fi re.
■
NEVERT try to extinguish a fi re with
water, but switch off the appliance
and then cover fl ame e.g. with a lid or
a fi re blanket.
■
If you are preparing foods using alco-
hol, do not leave the cooker unatten-
ded! Food may ignite of its own ac-
cord.
■
Do not store items on the cooking
surfaces.
■
Do not use the oven for storage pur-
poses.
■
In case of an oven fi re: Do not open
the oven door!
■
Once the fi re has been extinguished,
have the appliance checked by our
service team (see page EN-25).
