Installation
(k) The hob must be surrounded by at least
50 mm of worktop on all sides.
Worktop
The worktop must be
– (l) at least 30 mm thick
– (f)+(k) at least 690 mm wide
– (g)+(k) at least 620 mm deep
– positioned horizontally, and it should be
sealed against any overflowing liquids on
the wall side.
Preparing food
• Saw a piece out of the worktop measuring
(i) 560–564 mm in width,
(j) 490–494 mm in depth.
If a hob was already installed, the recess
cut for it must have the same dimensions.
Installing the hob
1. Remove the hob from the packaging.
2. Remove all protective and packaging
materials.
3. Turn the hob over and place it upside
down on a soft, clean surface, for exam-
ple the packaging. Otherwise the hob
could be scratched.
4. Insert the short, angled end of the two
enclosed retaining clips into the slots pro-
vided on the underside of the hob.
5. Screw down the retaining clips using the
enclosed screws.
6. Place the hob, with the sensor field facing
forward, into the worktop recess.

7. Insert the hob so that the air outlet (m) is
not obstructed by
≥
3 mm.
8. Firmly press against the hob.
9. Clean the hob thoroughly before its first
use (see „Cleaning the hob“ on page
EN-20).
