Problem
Possible solutions / tips
The appliance cannot
be switched on, nothing
is shown on the display.
The power supply has been interrupted. Check the fuse for the
stove in the fuse box in the apartment. If you have any concerns,
contact our service center (see “Service” on page EN-29).
The sensors do not
react.
The safety lock is now enabled. Switch off the safety lock (see
“Deactivating the safety lock” on page EN-19).
The sensors respond
poorly.
A film of water is covering the sensor, or you did not touch the
sensors with your entire fingertip. Clean and dry the sensor field,
and always touch the sensor with the entire fingertip and not just
the very end of the finger.
Fissures or cracks in the
appliance.

The appliance operates with dangerous voltages.

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply immedi-
ately (turn off or unscrew fuses)!

Call our service center (see “Service” on page EN-29).
The cookware makes
a crackling or whirring
noise.
These noises arise due to the design of the induction cookware and
do not indicate a defect.
The cookware emits a
whistling sound when on
a high heat setting.
These noises arise due to the design of the induction cookware
and do not indicate a defect. If you reduce the heat setting, these
noises should stop.
Fan noise
The appliance is equipped with a fan, which switches on
automatically when one of the cooking zones is activated and
continues to run for some time after the hob has been switched off.
Do not turn off the power supply to the appliance while the fan is
running.
The cookware does
not heat up and the
message “ ” appears on
the display.
The induction hobs do not recognise the cookware because it is
not suitable for induction hobs. Select suitable cookware (see “The
right cookware” on page EN-12).
The induction hob does not recognise the cookware because it is
too small for the selected cooking zone or because it is not centerd
on the cooking zone.
The appliance switches
off unexpectedly. You
will hear a signal, and
an error message
(usually a blinking timer
display) will appear in
the sensor field.
Technical error. Make a note of the error message on the sensor
field, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and contact
our Customer Service (see “Service” on page EN-29).
