nating voltage 220–240 V~ / 380–
415 V 3N~ / 50 Hz. The appliance
may be connected only to a pre-in-
stalled mains cable of type H07RN-F
with a conductor cross-section of at
least 5 × 1.5 mm

and with a rated
current of a maximum of 16 A.
■
Keep the mains plug and mains cord
away from naked fl ames and hot sur-

Do not kink or pinch the mains cord
or lay it over sharp edges.

the house installation with at least
3 mm contact clearance.

Before connecting the appliance,
switch off the relevant power circuit

accessing the terminals, all supply cir-

put your own and future users’ lives
in danger. Only authorised specialists
are allowed to carry out this repair
work.

The appliance is not intended to be
operated by means of an external
timer or a separate remote control
system.
■
Do not put any objects in or through
the housing openings, and also make
sure that children cannot insert any
objects in them.
■
If the surface is cracked, switch off
the appliance to avoid the possibili-
ty of electric shock. Water that runs
through cracks inside the glass ce-
ramic hob may be live! If there are
visible cracks on your glass ceramic
hob, disconnect the appliance from
the mains (switch off and/or unscrew
fuse). Contact our service center (see
“Service” on page EN-29).
■
A steam cleaner is not to be used

get through cracks into live electrical
