How should the tempe­
rature be displayed?
Initial Configuration of the Hansgrohe RainBrain
The configuration and the welcome screen will be displayed every time the de-
vice is turned on, until the initial installation has been performed completely.
Configuration with Hansgrohe showers:
The following steps must be performed:
• Figure 1 Select your language. You can select the desired language by
pressing the appropriate button on the display (default setting is German).
Press Next.
• Figure 2 Select the desired temperature unit on the display. Press Next.
• Figure 3 In the shower assignment screen, select: Hansgrohe products.
Press Next.
• Figure 4a/4b Now, select head, hand and side showers from the Hansgrohe
assortment. Press Next.
• Figure 5a/5b Depending on your shower's configuration, you can set up
music, light and water volume. Required accessories: Light relay part no.
27189000, power box with water volume function part no 15842000;
15842400 and an audio amplifier and speakers for music playback.
• Figure 6 Select the desired showers for the cascade function. Press Next.
• Figure 7 Conclude the configuration by selecting OK.
• The basic image will be displayed.
Configuration with showers by other manufacturers:
The following steps must be performed:
• Figure 1 Select your language. You can select the desired language by
pressing the appropriate button on the display (default setting is German).
Press Next.
• Figure 2 Select the desired temperature unit on the display. Press Next.
• Figure 3 In the shower assignment screen, select: Other products. Press
Next.
• Figure 8 Select a connection. After this selection, you will be taken to select
the appropriate symbol.
• Figure 9a/9b Now, select the respective symbol for the mounted connections
and showers (up to 5 possible). A blank field will be selected for unused
connections. Press Next.
• Figure 10 Depending on the configuration of your shower, you can adjust
the music, light and water volume. Required accessories: Light relay part
no. 27189000, power box with water volume function part no 15842000;
15842400 and an audio amplifier and speakers for music playback.
Press Next.
• Figure 6 Select the desired showers for the cascade function. Press Next.
• Figure 7 Conclude the configuration by selecting OK.
• The basic image will be displayed.
All settings and the symbols can be changed later in the settings menu under
connection configuration.
The combination must be started using the Start/Stop key of the rotary
knob in order not to activate any other functions. All keys must remain
pressed until the system level is displayed.
