1.14.2 Configuring LDP to Establish LSPs
I. Network requirements
On the network in
Figure 1-8
, an LSP is required to be established between Switch A
and Switch C. Check the validity and reachability of the LSP.

III. Configuration procedure
1) Configure LDP sessions. Refer to
LDP Session Configuration Example
.
2) Configure the LSP establishment triggering policy for LDP to establish LSPs.
Note:
For LDP to establish an LSP, LDP sessions are required between switches along the
LSP. In
Figure 1-8
, an LDP LSP can be established provided that local LDP sessions
exist between Switch A and Switch B, and between Switch B and Switch C; no remote
LDP session is required between Switch A and Switch C.
