 Step 3

Drill three 3/32" (2.5mm) holes through the elevator 

at the locations marked in the previous step. Place 

2–3 drops of thin CA into the hole to harden the 

wood. Repeat this for each of the three holes.

 

 Step 4

Attach the control horn using three  

2-56 x 1/2” screws and the control back plate.

 

 Step 5

Physically place the elevator control surface 

in neutral. Mark the pushrod where it 

crosses the holes in the servo arm.

 

 Step 6

Bend the wire 90 degrees at the mark made in the 

previous step. Cut the wire 1/2" (13mm) above the bend.
