A . Spare Shear Bolts
B . Shear Bolts
TWIN AUGERS
Proper tension should be maintained on the
auger wipers and hold downs when operating
forage box. To adjust wipers and hold downs,
start with rear auger first. Loosen bolts (B)
holding front wiper on rear auger, and slide
wiper against flighting so end of auger can
only be raised slightly. Re-tighten bolts. Loosen
(C) and slide hold down tight against auger
flighting. Re-tighten bolts. To adjust front
auger wiper, loosen bolts (D) and slide wiper
against flight-ing of auger so end of auger can
only be raised slightly. Re-tighten bolts. Check
adjustment of wipers and hold downs
periodically.

HEAR BOLT
The cross conveyor is protected by two shear
bolts, located in the drive sprocket and shear hub
assembly, located at the right hand end of cross
conveyor. Two spare shear bolts are provided.
Always determine the cause of failure and
eliminate the cause before installing new shear
bolts. Use only H&S shear bolts when replacing.
