PRECAUTIoNS dURING ASSEmBLY
• Assemble the cargo tarp in accordance with these instructions before use� Incorrect
assembly can be dangerous�
• Wear approved safety goggles during assembly�
• Keep the assembly area clean and well lit�
• Make sure that there are no other people in the vicinity during the assembly work�
• Do not carry out the assembly work when you are tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication�
• Weight capacity and other features only apply if the cargo tarp has been assembled
correctly and completely�
PRECAUTIoNS FoR USE
• Do not exceed the nominal weight capacity of the cargo tarp�
• Do not exceed the nominal weight capacity of the pickup truck� Refer to the
nominal gross weight of the pickup truck�
• Apply the parking brake before unloading� Do not unload while the pickup truck is
moving�
• Do not stand behind the pickup truck during unloading�
• Do not force the crank while unloading� If the load does not move or the crank is
difficult to turn, see the Troubleshooting section�
• Close the tailgate and ensure that it latches completely before loading�
• Check local traffic regulations before driving with the cargo tarp fitted�
• Wear approved safety goggles during unloading�
• If unloading is interrupted, the user should relax the pressure on the handle before
letting go�
• Check that there are no people or objects in the unloading area before unloading�
• Secure the roller bar before driving the pickup truck� If the roller bar is not secured,
it can cause the cargo tarp to billow during driving, causing a traffic hazard�
