Attaching rope to the drum
It is not necessary to use bolts or nuts to attach the rope around the drum. The illustration below shows
two ways of attaching the rope.

Attaching wire to the drum
The wire must be attached to the drum with a wire clamp.
NOTE!
Boat trailers that are not fitted with keel rollers and/or side rollers must be backed down into the water
when winching the boat up onto the trailer. The boat must slide smoothly up onto the trailer. Otherwise
there is a risk that the winch will be damaged. The winch is not designed to secure the boat on the boat
trailer. Special straps must be used for this purpose.
MAINTENANCE
Moving parts, such as gears, ratchets and shafts, must be kept clean and lubricated to ensure proper and
safe operation.
