Changing the ratio
The handle can be moved to change the ratio. Lift the shift lock to move the shaft.
The ratios are:
A.
12:1
B.
Neutral
C.
5:1
Fitting the handbrake

Slide the brake drum (3) onto the shaft (1). Push the locking pin (2) into the hole in the brake drum
and corresponding hole in the shaft (fig. 1).

Insert the screw (7) in the hole in the side of the frame. First place the spacer (4) on the screw and
then the spring (5) on the brake drum (3). Make sure the eye of the spring (5) is aligned with the
spacer (4). Secure the eye of the spring (5) and spacer with a lock nut (6) (fig. 2).
3.
Place the brake handle (8) on the shaft (1). Make sure that the pin on the handle fits into the other
eye of the spring (5). Push the lock ring (9) firmly into the recess of the shaft (fig. 3).
