Installation

Assembling the Lantern

Connecting The Wires
□
Attach the cage (F) to the lantern canopy with 2
lock nuts (AA) provided.
□
Attach the ground wire (G) to the ground
screw or ground wire (green/yellow) inside the
junction box (H).
□
Use the mounting screws (FF) to fix Crossbar
(CC) to the junction box (H).
□
Using the wire connectors (BB) connect the
white wire of the fixture with the white wire of
junction box (H) and the black wire of the
fixture with the black wire of the junction box
(H).

Installing The Light Bulb
□
Install the lantern to the junction box (H) by
aligning the holes on the canopy to the mounting
screws (FF) on the Crossbar (CC) arm.
□
Secure in place with the lock nuts (AA)
and washers (B).
□
Install the light bulb (I). Do not exceed the
specified wattage. (60 W max.)
□
Turn the power on and check operation.
CAUTION:
With silicone caulking compound, caulk
completely around where back canopy meets the wall
surface to prevent water from seeping into the
junction box.
WARNING:
In order to avoid water accumulated in
the GFCI box during raining days, always keep the GFCI
box as indicated on page 4.
