Option - Overflow monitoring option
For monitoring, the overflow monitor is fastened to the container and is connected to the Misceo 3 with a
cable. If the container should be full, the float of the overflow monitor rises and switches the Misceo 3 off.
The Misceo 3 does not switch on again automatically when the float sinks.
Before starting the mixing operation, check to make sure that the overflow monitor was correctly attached.
The overflow monitor must always be securely and firmly attached to the container so that it cannot possibly
come loose. The switch-off contact of the overflow monitor is to be placed so that overflow is impossible. It is
necessary to clean and check the overflow monitor after every submersion to ensure smooth function.
Despite all safety equipment, the overflow monitor is in no way a replacement for having the mixing operation
continuously supervised by trained personnel. The cable length of the overflow monitor is 3 m. Extension
cables are available for the overflow monitor in many different lengths up to 200 m. Mixing without the
overflow monitor is ensured by a jumper included in delivery (Art. No.: 2001126 jumper, overflow monitor).
If you did not order an overflow monitor with your Misceo 3, you can have this retrofitted later. For this, you
will require retrofitting (Art. No.: 2001111) and the overflow monitor. (Art. No.: 2001110). To retrofit, you
must send in your Misceo 3.
