FIRE DOOR GLASS

In the event of the door glass being broken it can
easily be replaced. 

This should be done when the

appliance is cold and unlit:

•The door should be lifted off the hinges so that 

the below operations can be carried out on a 
workbench or similar level surface.  (Fig.5)

•Unscrew the two nuts, on the inside of the door 

securing the retaining clips.

•Carefully remove any pieces of broken glass, and 

sealing gasket wearing suitable gloves.

•Re-place the gaskets and line them up in    

relation to the door frame. (Fig.6)

•Re-seat the new glass, ensuring the sealing gasket 

is flat and in contact with the glass. (Fig.7)

•Replace the two retaining clips and nuts. Do not 

over-tighten the nuts as damage may occur to the 

glass (Fig.8) Re-place the door carefully over  
the hinges and slot in place.
