9-4-1-3 Exposure time setting: Frame blanking*
Exposure and readout repeat along with the operation of the electronic shutter according to the
sequence set internally. The exposure time (Frame blanking*) is set with the
FBL n
command.
This setting is made in units of one vertical scan cycle.

Frame blanking: Photosensors are exposed for a specified number of frames; however the accumulated charge to the VCCD
from the photosensors are not read out every frame.
(1) Normal readout
Exposure and normal readout repeat according to the sequence set internally.
Command
: AMD N (Free running mode)
Scan mode : SMD N (Normal)
Exposure time : NMD F, FBL n (Frame blanking)
1V (vertical)
: 83.8 ms
Setting count : 1V to 12V (83.8 ms to 1.00 s)
Repeat cycle : 11.9 Hz/n
Exposure time can be calculated using the formula below.
Exposure time = n × 83.8 ms
(n=1 to 12)

2 binning readout repeat according to the sequence set internally.

Scan mode : SMD S (Binning)
Exposure time : NMD F, FBL n (Frame blanking)
Binning
: SPX 2 (2×2 binning)
1V (vertical) : 46.9 ms
Setting count : 1V to 22V (46.9 ms to 1.03 s)
Repeat cycle : 21.3 Hz/n
Exposure time can be calculated using the formula below.
Exposure time = n × 46.9 ms
