Note – Turning the radio on for the first
time
•
A dAB station search will be performed when you
switch the radio on for the first time.
•
the time will be automatically set once the station
search is complete.
•
When the station search is complete, turn
[EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select one of the stations
found Confirm the station selection by pressing
[EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8).
Note
If no stations are found, start the station search again
as described in
7.1. Station Search (DAB)
, or perform
a manual station search as described in
7.2. Manual

5. Basic settings
Note
•
In the different submenus, press [MEnu] (3)
(repeatedly) to jump back one menu step or to return
to the main display.
•
If you do not make an entry within 15 seconds, the
radio automatically returns to the main display.
•
Press [MEnu] (3) and turn [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) until
you see System. Press [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to access
the settings menu.
5.1. Sleep
Note
•
the radio automatically switches off after the selected
time.
•
the activated sleep function is indicated by a symbol
on the display.
•
turn and press [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select
Sleep
.
•
turn and press [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select
whether the radio should automatically switch off
after 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes, of if you want to
deactivate the function.
5.2. Equaliser
In the Equaliser submenu, you can select from various preset
equaliser modes or make your own settings.
•
turn and press [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select
Equaliser

•
turn [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select the desired mode.
Confirm the selection by pressing [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8).
•
turn and press [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select
My EQ
to make individual treble and bass settings.
5.3. Date & Time
•
turn and press [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select
Time
.
•
Select
Update from FM/ DAB/ Any
to automatically
set the time and date.
•
Select
No update
to manually set the time and date.
•
turn and press [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to set the time,
date 12/24 hour format and the date format.
5.4. Displaybeleuchtung
this radio’s display has two lighting levels.
•
turn and press [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select
Backlight

•
turn [EntEr]/[nAVIgAtE] (8) to select whether you want
to set the radio’s lighting for when it is on
(Power on)
or in standby

, and confirm your selection by

brightness of the display’s lighting.
