Motion detection
Default settings
The motion detection capability means that the device can also be
used for security purposes. Any movement or changes in the surveil-
lance area are detected and, depending on the settings, a video of
the change/movement sent either by email or uploaded to an FTP
server.

Activate motion detec-
tion
Switch on the "Activate" control if motion
detection is to be activated. Switch on the
"Deactivate" control if motion detection is
to be deactivated.
Detection interval for the
next event
Select the time period in seconds be-
tween two motion detection events.
Send snapshot via email
Switch on this control if an email is to be
sent when an event occurs. Email set-
tings are made in the Email submenu.
Email subject
Enter a "Subject" for the email here in or-
der to distinguish emails from this device
from other emails.
Send snapshot to FTP
Switch on the "Yes" control to save the
image onto the FTP server when an
event occurs. The FTP server settings
are performed in the FTP configuration
submenu. Switch on the No" control to
deactivate this function.
Click the "Use" button to save the new settings to the device.
