LAN
Settings are made in this window for the wired LAN network connec-
tion to the device.

Remark
Network type
Switch on the "DHCP" control if IP addresses
in your network are managed by a DHCP
server.
Switch on the "Static IP address" if IP
addresses in your network are statically as-
signed.
IP address
Enter the static IP address of the device. The
IP address must match the address space of
your network.
Subnet mask
Enter the subnet mask here. Normally you
should enter
255.255.255.0
here.
Gateway
Enter the IP address of the gateway/router
here.
Primary DNS
Enter the IP address of the DNS server here.
This IP address is normally the same as the
IP address of the gateway.
Secondary DNS
Enter the IP address of a backup DNS server
here. If the primary DNS server is not avail-
able, the device will then use this address.
