2. Operating notes
To receive radio stations from the Internet, you must
connect the radio to your home network.
We recommend using a permanent connection to the
Internet (i.e. fl at rate tariff instead of a time or volume-
based tariff) as data is constantly transferred when the
device is receiving and playing an internet radio station.
3. First steps
3.1 Controls on front panel
1. Standby
switch:
Switches the device in and out of
standby
mode
2. USB
port:
For connecting a USB storage medium.
The device can play music from this storage medium.
3. Function:
Switches between Internet radio mode and
music player mode
4. Alarm:
Sets the alarm function and switches it on
and
off
5. Info:
Displays additional information about the radio
station or music fi le
6. Sleep:
Activates/deactivates the sleep timer
7. Preset:
Saves a station
8. Snooze:
Mutes the alarm
9. Menu:
Displays the menu for the selected function
(Internet radio or music player). Press twice to go
back to the radio station or music fi le that is currently
playing.
10. Mute:

11. Enter:
Confi rms your settings

Turn left to decrease volume.
