Operation on the device or remote control:
9.
Humidify
button: Humidifier On/Off
10.
Anion
button: Ion generator On/Off - generates negatively
charged ions (anions) and small amounts of ozone. This increases
the cleaning performance, as the anions combine with positively
charged dirt particles in the room air to form larger clusters. These
can then be filtered out more easily by the internal filters.
Warning - Ozone
Do not use this function if you are sensitive to ozone, in
bedrooms, in rooms where children are present and in rooms
with tobacco smoke. Pets might also feel disturbed.
11.
Timing
button: Running time preselectable from 1 - 8 hours
12.
Filter
button:
After filter change - reset button for filter change indicator
13.
Sleep
button: All indicators except the
Sleep
indicator go out and
the device operates in whisper mode to allow undisturbed sleep.
Pressing Sleep again briefly activates the display so that another
operating mode can be selected.
14.
Speed
button: Fan speed level 1 - 2 - 3 - 4

OFF/ON
indicator flashes. Touch the button to start the device -
Select the desired operating mode.

mode (13) has been activated
Negative ion

anion function
has been
activated via button (10)
Manual:
Manual operation - Automatic (Auto) or Sleep are not
selected. Fan speed can be selected via the
Speed
button (14).
Humidification:
lights up when the humidifier function has been
selected via button (9). A humidity of between 40 and 60 per cent
is recommended. Excessive humidity promotes mould, bacteria
and mites. Increasing the humidity takes some time.
Formaldehyde removal:
lights up during automatic operation
Auto:
Automatic mode selected via the
Auto
button (15). The
built-in air quality sensor controls the fan speed.
Filter:
Filter change indicator. Flashes when filter needs to be replaced.
•
The air purifier calculates a required filter change according to its
service life.
•
The change indicator lights up when the filter should be replaced
to ensure sufficient air purification.
•
With daily use, the combi-filter should be used up after approx.
6 -12 months.
•
Since the filter contains all the collected pollutants, it should only
be changed outdoors and with appropriate care against contact
contamination (gloves/respiratory protection).
•
The filter is not washable.
•
An unpleasant odour during operation may indicate that filtered
substances are decomposing in the filter (e.g. bacteria) and it
needs to be replaced or ventilated in the sun.
•
Vacuum the filter and the inner housing every 1 to 2 months to
remove coarse dirt. Then place the filter outdoors in direct sunlight
for approx. 3 hours to dry it and eliminate any bacteria, viruses
etc. that may be present through the UV rays.
•
Also hold the vacuum cleaner against the open sensor opening
(2) to clean it.
•
The filter can then possibly be reused. The filter must be replaced
after 1 year at the latest. On the one hand, there is a risk that it
will no longer completely remove the particles mentioned from
the air or that the pollutant particles already in the filter will be
released again. The activated charcoal also loses its effect when
unpacked.
•
After changing the filter, reset the indicator by pressing the
Filter
button (12) on the device.
Displays
•
Speed
: Display of the set fan speed
•
PM 2.5
: in µg/m³; display of measured fine dust
particles with an aerodynamic diameter Ø 2.5µm (0.5 to 3.5µm).
Typical concentrations in homes are 20 to 30 µg/m³.
•
Air Quality:
After switching on the device, the display flashes
until the sensor has warmed up. After that, the display visually
shows the indoor air quality.
Green
stands for good quality
Orange
stands for normal quality
Red
stands for poor quality
•
If the humidity in the room is very high, condensation can form on
the sensor and negatively affect the display and cause switching
back and forth in automatic mode. In this case, use the air purifier
with a manual speed setting.
