IMPORTANT
Make sure to clean out the ash from the burn pot after each use to
ensure the proper function of your pellet grill.
6. Light the pellets inside the burn pot using a butane
torch. Allow the pellets to burn for 1 to 2 minutes.
Do not attempt to add more pellets into the burn
pot. This can cause an uncontrolled fire.
7. Carefully place the grease plate, cooking grid and
install the searing damper linkage handle. The lid
and sear damper must remain closed during the
start-up cycle.
8. Your unit should now operate correctly.
Your HALO Pellet Grill comes equipped with a convenient
timer. The Timer function does not impact grill operation;
you can set the TIMER to notify you of other chosen steps
during cooking, like loading food items into the grill or
basting your meat.
TIMER
1. Push the Control knob once to turn the unit on. The
controller will flash several times and then turn to
a solid screen. This is to let you know your grill is
powered on.
2. Push once more, this will take you to the function
screen where you can access all functions. Rotate the
control knob to select the Time function.
3. Rotate the control knob to the desired number of
hours and push the control knob to confirm the
hours. Then rotate again to set the desired number
of minutes and push the control knob to confirm the
minutes.
4. The timer will count down to zero when the unit is
started.

You can change your timer setting by repeating steps
1-4 above.
