• DO NOT place the BassiNest near a window or patio door where cords from blinds or drapescan strangle an infant.
• NEVER place more than one infant to sleep in the BassiNest.
• Always remove child from the BassiNest before adjusting height.
• Only place the BassiNest and the removable nest on a flat, dry, and level floor. Never use on an unintended
elevated surface.
• Not for use in an automobile.
• Do not place the BassiNest near fire or other sources of heat.
• Do not place anything in the BassiNest to elevate the pad. The American Academy of Pediatrics states that
elevation can result in the infant sliding to the foot of the crib into a position that might compromise
respiration and is therefore not recommended.

Detachable nest should ONLY be used while baby is awake and parent is supervising. Baby should not sleep
or be left unattended in nest when detached from base.

To help prevent falls,

Do not
use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 9 kg (20 lbs), whichever comes first.

Always
check that the bassinet is securely locked on the base/stand by pulling upwards on the bassinet bed.
• Ensure that the sides of this bassinet are properly latched or locked in the appropriate position when a child is left unattended in it.
•
Do not
carry baby in the bassinet.
•
Always
use product on the floor.
Never
use on an unintended elevated surface.
• DO NOT use if any part of the bassinet is broken, torn, or missing.
• Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT place items with a string around a child’s neck, such as hood
strings or pacifier cords. DO NOT suspend strings over a bassinet or attach strings to toys.

To prevent battery leaks, which can burn skin and eyes:
• Remove batteries when storing the product for a long time.
• Dispose of used batteries immediately.
• Always replace the entire set of batteries at one time.
• Never mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types.
