6. The special considerations for the ICOM brand of HF transceivers does not seem to apply to
other manufacturer's brands of transceivers with the possible exception of the choice of audio
output connection to the transceiver. ALWAYS use a low-impedance audio output such as the
external speaker connection (or Kenwood phone patch output) rather than a high-impedance,
low-level output (such as the TR7 auxiliary output).
