: Is the filter pipe full of extracted solder?

: If the filter pipe is 70 - 80% full of solder,
replace the filter pipe. If the ceramic paper
filter is stiff with absorbed flux, replace the
filter.

: Is solder residue stuck on the contact
surface between the front holder or the back
holder bushing and the filter pipe assembly?
ACTION
: Refer to “Checking and cleaning front and
back holder bushings.”
