Turning the button fully counter
-
clockwise, the temperature controlling
device gets into zero state. Turning the button clockwise, the desired
temperature can be set at higher and higher degrees, see Figure
4. Arriving at
sign *, the water tank is protected against frost, except for cases of non
-
operation o
f the water tank or current failure. Frost protection does not cover
the water pipeline system and water fittings.
Under frost protection mode, the temperature of the water is not allowed to
fall below appr. 7 ºC, while energy consumption is minimal. Set
ting the
controlling button to the beginning of the duple continuous line, the water
tank will provide water of 40º C. This mode, i.e. setting the water tank to
provide water of 40º C represents an energy saving mode as this time, heat
loss decreases by 70% as compared to the quantity in the mode of providing
water of 80º C, furthermore, the hot water produced in this mode can be used
without cold water mixing. If hot water needs can be fulfilled with water of
this temperature besides the given storing capacity, it is reasonable to
operate the water tank at the temperature of 40º C. The start of the triple
line means 60 ºC and its end means 80º C. In case of larger water need,
operate the hot water tank
in a mode of 60 ºC water provision and change the
te
mperature controller into 80 ºC water provision state only if necessary. In
case of both modes of 40 ºC and 60º C water provision, scale deposition and
corrosion are reduced significantly.
8.3.
Temperature reducing device
In case of failure of the controller or in case of normal operation before the
temperature of the water exceeds 110 ºC, it breaks the circuit of the heating.
Re-
switch of the controlling device can only be performed by a professional
technician, after eliminating the cause of the defect.
8.4.
Compact heater
In case of failure of the compact heater, its replacement can be performed
after switching off the water tank from the electric system, fully emptying the
water tank, through removal of screws of the closing cover.
Its reparation can
only be performed by a professional technician.
8.5.
Active anode
As a supplementary accessory, the hot water tank is equipped with an active
anode to protect it against corrosion. The life expectancy of the active anode
