Instructions for technicians
One NO relay contact is connected to the J1 connector using a twin-core cable ac
-
cording to Figure 14 .2 . The relay contact is closed, when the alarm centre is ena-
bled, and it is open otherwise. This is a potential free connection mode. Home
alarm systems tend to lack potential free outputs, however, a relay connected to
the PGM output provides an easy solution.
8.11.
Energy efficient operation
8.11.1.
Energy saving mode
According to the factory setting, the display and LEDs turn off in ten minutes from
the last push of a button, except for the middle button, which keeps lighting. If
you push the middle button, all display functions will turn on for additional ten
minutes . You can set the time under the SET menu .
8.11.2.
Display brightness setting
Aligned to the illumination of the room, you can set the brightness of the display
and the LEDs under the SET menu.
9. OPERATION
9.1.
LED display (pictograms)
Certain settings and states of the appliance are indicated by four pictograms. The
data shown are as follows:
9.1.1.
Upper left pictogram (shower head)
•
Flashing blue – Either one of both heating circuits run, and the upper temperature
measurement is below 40 °C
•
Solid blue – The whole container is heated up, you can have a shower
•
Alternating blue and green – You can start showering, the upper temperature
measurement is at least 40 °C, but heating is still running
•
Solid green – You can start showering, the upper temperature measurement is at
least 40 °C, but less than the level set for the given mode; nevertheless, heating is
not possible due to the unavailability of mains power supply
•
No light – The upper temperature measurement is below 40 °C, and also less
than the level set for the given mode; nevertheless, heating is not possible due to
the unavailability of mains power supply
9.1.2.
Lower left pictogram (Hand)
•
Solid blue – Manual, custom configurable temperatures.
•
Flashing blue – Manual, custom configurable temperatures, but Legionella
disinfection is running, whereby the full container will be heated to at least 60 °C,
irrespective of the temperature setting.
9.1.3.
Upper right pictogram (Leaf)
•
Solid blue – ECO mode, factory set lower and upper temperature
•
Flashing blue – ECO mode, factory set lower and upper temperature, but
Legionella disinfection is running, whereby the full container will be heated to at
least 60 °C.
