Option 2, Power supply cord method
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Do not remove the ground prong from the power cord plug.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to do so can result in death, fire or electrical shock.
The power cord and connections must comply with the National Electrical Code,
Section 422 and/or local codes and ordinances. Recommended cord length is 54”
min. and 64” max.
1. Remove terminal box cover. Retain for later use.
2. Install a UL listed/CSA approved strain relief.
3. Route power cord so that it does not touch dishwasher motor or lower part of
dishwasher tub.
4. Pull power cord through strain relief in terminal box.
5. Using UL listed wire nuts of the appropriate size to connect power cord to
16-gauge dishwasher wire, connect the wires as follows:
Terminal box wire:
white
black
ground connector
Power supply wire:
white
black
ground wire
