• Product structure and composition: The product adopts a refrigeration system attached to the
thermal insulation box which is microcomputer controlled with direct cooling design, and a rack type
design of evaporator.
• Before putting the articles into the freezer, make sure fi rstly that the design temperature is reached
inside the freezer, then put in the articles in batches. The articles put in every time shall not exceed
1/3 of the internal capacity so as to prevent temperature increase.
• The indicated temperature value of the freezer is the value indicated inside the freezer at the
temperature sensing probe. Occasionally the indicated temperature has a certain difference with
the actual temperature in the central part of the freezer, but it will gradually approach to the true
temperature.
• Use the diluted mild detergent to clean the freezer. Do not use brushes, acid, gasoline, soap
powder, polishing power or hot water to clean the freezer as the above materials may damage the
painting surface as well as the plastic and rubber parts and components. Take particular care not to
use volatile solvent such as gasoline to wipe plastic and rubber parts and components.
• Cut off the power of the freezer when it is not in service for a long time.
• Every time when putting in and taking out the articles, please try to reduce the door opening time so
as not to cause larger fl uctuations of the temperature and humidity inside the freezer.
• After opening the door, the temperature inside the freezer will rise steeply in a short time, this is
normal and the temperaute will restore within one hour after the door is closed.
• The freezer is equipped with security door lock. Please keep the key properly. Once the key is lost,
the door body of the freezer will not opened.
• Lock of the upright freezer
The lock of the upright freezer shall be locked when the freezer is powered on,or it will cause cold air
leakage and frosting which will affect the performance.
• Cleaning and Defrosting of the freezer
1) The freezer can be cleaned with light soapy water. Never use brushes, acids, gasoline, soap
powder, polishing powders or hot water to clean a unit as they will damage the unit. Never wipe the
unit and components with volatile solvent such as gasoline.
2) As a freezer works for some time, the interior will form a layer of frost. When the frost gets too
thick, the refrigeration effect will be reduced. If the thickness of the frost reaches about 5 mm, use the
provided frost-removal shovel to scrap the frost off the wall.
3) Prior to a defrost operation; transfer the stored products to a safe place.
4) During a defrost operation, do not use any sharp object such as knife, cold chisel or screwdriver to
scrap the ice and frost. This method can damage the evaporator and the freezer.
Precautions for use
23
The following situations are normal with the freezers.
• When a unit is initially started, the refrigeration process might take some time. Thecompressor tends
to be a bit louder.
• During the normal operation of the unit, there may be a sound of liquid fl ow. That is a normal sound
of the refrigerant fl ow.
• The displayed temperature and the center temperature of the unit are not necessarilythe same.
Over time, they tend to approach each other.
• Behind the outer skin of the freezer, there are heat-dissipating tubes. When the unit operates, the
surface of the outer skin of the unit might be warm to touch.
