E. OPERATING THE QUICK-ATTACH SYSTEM
FIG. 4.47-3
LIFT THE BOOM
– Lifting the boom will
allow the weight of the boom to pull the hooks
over the lock pins. Once the hooks are fully
over the lock pins, be sure to engage the lock
assemblies.
Do not operate the boom with-
out the full engagement of the lock assem-
blies!
You will notice the change of weight again
as the machine begins to support the boom.
BOOM STANDS
-This would also be
a good time to put the boom stands (if
equipped) in “travel” position by removing
the pin and sliding the leg all the way up.
Re-insert the pin above the bracket to keep
the leg in place.
Do not try to move the machine a
great distance without doing this step! You
risk catching the stands on the ground
causing unnecessary damage to the stands and to the boom. You may also
damage the machine.
CONTINUE WITH YOUR SPRAY JOB
– DO NOT FORGET to adjust your booms before moving the
machine. Continue with your spray job.
