Installation instructions
Canopy
The canopy contained in this set consists of a frame and
lid, which are already fitted together.
Rear view:
Before operating
, carefully remove the lid from the frame
completely and guide the cable for the lighting through the
inner opening provided for that purpose on the back of the
lid (Fig. 1, 2).
Put the lid and frame back together again (Fig. 3).
WARNING:
Ensure that
all
cables only pass through the
holes provided for them and the cable is not pinched or
damaged.
Equipment and directions
Water level in the aquarium
Fill the aquarium up to a maximum of 2 centimetres below
the top rim of the tank (
do not exceed this filling depth
).
Initial set-up
Carefully place the canopy onto the rim of the aquarium.
Make sure that the electric cable and plug do not get wet
during installation.
WARNING
: Do not plug the canopy in if
there is water on parts which must not get wet.
WARNING
: Do not put any objects on top of the canopy.
Ensure there is enough space around the canopy.
Turning the canopy on and off
It is advisable to use the switch to turn the light on and off,
or use a timer switch.
