IV. FIRST START-UP OF HEATERS
1. Unpack the heater, take out the tank and all information materials. Place the device in a well-ventilated
room, on a heat-resistant area.
2. Make sure that you have received the heater in the 230 V version (information on the bottom of the
device).
3. When using the device for the first time, after it is warmed up, it is natural for the elements to smoke,
because they are exposed to high temperature for the first time. Therefore it is necessary to ensure
good ventilation in the room. Please follow the steps below:
-
Place the device in a well-ventilated room on a heat-resistant area.
-
Remove the cover and the water tank.
-
Set the controller to the maximum temperature range (clockwise).

covered, but not more than 2.5 cm below the top of the tank. Cover the tank with a lid.
4. Connect the device to the power supply, turn the regulator fully (clockwise) to 20 up to 30 minutes to
speed up heating. When the water heats up, turn the knob to hold requsted temperature.

reaches the required temperature or if the device is disconnected from the power supply.
6. Carefully remove the first stone from the tank, check its temperature with your finger and then grasp it
with your hand. The stone should be visibly warm, but cannot burn and be uncomfortable for the
patient.
7. After finishing the treatment, turn the regulator fully anti-clockwise to turn off the device.
8. Never put stones directly into the heater as it may cause device damage.

VII. APPLICATION OF STONES
Basalt is the most common type of stone used in hot stone therapy. Free from pores, with a smooth
surface, it has unique holding warm properties. The high amount of rust in basalt accelerates the treatment
of vascular diseases blood vessels, has a relaxing effect on the muscular and mood improvement.
