Preparation
Tensile force
-
Estimate using the load to be moved or calculate using a load-weighing device.
-
Smaller or larger tensile forces will arise depending on whether the load is simply being pulled or whether it is
being hoisted.
-
The pulling force may not be larger than the rope pulling machine’s nominal pulling force (employ rope tension
meter).
For larger forces:
-
Reduce the tensile force using pulley blocks. Use the correct anchors and means of fastening (straps) for the
force.
Determine and prepare mounting options for the load:
Identify a location where the machine can be anchored and attach the rope pulling machine in the pulling direction using the
correct means of fastening.
-
The rope pulling machine must be able to freely position itself in the direction in which the rope is mov-
ing. Danger of housing breaking!
Laying the rope.
