After the configuration skipping flag is set successfully, the following message appears:

When the EXTEND-BOOTWARE menu appears again, enter
0
to reboot the router.
The router starts up with empty configuration.

To use the configuration in the next-startup configuration file, load the file in system view.

Configure a new console login password.
In the following example, the console login authentication mode is password and the
authentication password is 123456. For security, the password is always saved in ciphertext to
the configuration file, regardless of whether you specify the
simple
keyword or
cipher
keyword
for the
set authentication password
command.
