Replacing an air filter

CAUTION:

Clean air filters every three months to guarantee adequate ventilation and avoid over-temperature.

The S7508E-X Switch has two air filters that use common screws on the left of the chassis and have

positioning pins.

NOTE:

Keep the removed screws safely when replacing an air filter on the S7508E-X switch.

To replace an air filter:

Loosen the screws on the air filter, as shown in callout 1 on

Figure 37

Remove the air filter from the chassis.

Install the cleaned air filter to the switch. For the installation procedures, see the related air filter
user manual.
