Logging In Through NMS
When logging in through NMS, go to these sections for information you are interested in:

Connection Establishment Using NMS
Introduction
You can also log in to a switch through an NMS (network management station), and then configure and
manage the switch through the agent module on the switch.
z
The agent here refers to the software running on network devices (switches) and as the server.
z
SNMP (simple network management protocol) is applied between the NMS and the agent.
To log in to a switch through an NMS, you need to perform related configuration on both the NMS and
the switch.
