Installing the switch

CAUTION:

•

The switch can be used only indoors.

•

As a best practice, place the switch in an environment with the mechanical class not above 4M4.

Use a cabinet with the IP rating of IPX1 or higher for installing the switch.

•

Keep the tamper-proof seal on a mounting screw on the chassis cover intact, and if you want to

open the chassis, contact H3C for permission. Otherwise, H3C shall not be liable for any
consequence.
