Chapter 3 Installing the Switch

3) As shown in Figure 3-23, pass the two power cords through the air filter, insert

them into the corresponding holes, and tighten them with screw 1 and screw 2.

The positive and negative poles of the power cords must correspond to the

silkscreen above the holes.

4) Use a flathead screwdriver to fix the air filter on the connector with screw 3 and

screw 4, as shown in Figure 3-23.

Use cable ties to bind the two power cords to the protruding part at the back of the

air filter, as shown in Figure 3-23.

Fix the RPS DC power connector to the chassis

Insert the connector into the DC socket directly. Use the flathead screwdriver to fix

the connector with screw 1 and screw 2 (delivered with the switch), as shown in

Figure 3-24.

7) Check whether the PWR LED on the front panel of the switch is ON. If yes, the

power is properly connected.

Caution:

Before powering on the switch, you should properly connect the grounding wire.

The DC power cord should be less than 3 meters (9.8 ft.) long.
