General method of operation
Extractor hoods from Exklusiv
-
Hauben GUTMANN GmbH are especially designed for
the extraction of
cooking vapours in private households.
Rising cooking vapours are captured by the hood and absorbed through a suction slot
by a grease filter situated behind it. The front panel of the extractor hood is equipped
with a special glass panel, not only for optical, but also for technical reasons. This pa-
nel is positioned in such a way that a circumferential suction slot arises, which guaran-
tees an even exhaust air speed.
The grease filter, which is concealed by the glass panel, is made accessible by a 2
-
stage hinged lowering of the panel. The lighting elements are arranged along the lon-
gitudinal side of the hood and is concealed flush with the hood body for optical and
cleaning
-
related reasons. The suction power and the lighting of the hood are regulated
by means of a control panel (or alternatively: a remote control unit). The filter cleaning
interval is also displayed on the control element. The
lighting concept consists of a varying number of LED lamps, depending on the size of
the hood. These lamps ensure sufficient lighting by their corresponding arrangement.

The Llano hood represents a further innovation in the long line of design and technical ide-
as from the GUTMANN Company. The model is entirely integrated into the ceiling – crea-
ted for those who like full head clearance when cooking and who wish to have their own in-
dividual style reflected in the kitchen.
The mode of operation:
Due to the suction at the edge of the glass panel of the hood, (edge extraction), a flow is
created underneath the ceiling, which flows towards the hood due to the application of in-
novative technology. Fumes and vapours rise upwards due to their own thermal dynamics,
are collected there by the circulating flow and extracted by the hood.
