Modular design of the matrix switch

The back panel of the matrix switch can be equipped with up to 18 IO cards, two fan 
boards and three power supply modules.

Operating the matrix switch requires at least one IO card, two fan boards and at 

least one power supply module.

The components of the back panel have the following tasks:
