Cleaving Knife Sharpening
Sharp the cleaving knife using a file on a regular basis. Remove any sharp edges and depressions
Tip:
Grease the cleaving knife with multipurpose grease on a regular basis . It will decrease the stress
and sometime, even the difficult to work stock may be cleaved.

The machine will serve as a sufficient aid only if maintained and care for appropriately. Insufficient
maintenance and care may result in accidents and injuries.

Troubles and Troubleshooting
Jammed Stock Release

Have the sliding bench going back to the stop and while doing so, start the steering device.

Put a pre-cut wooden wedge across the jammed stock.

Now, move the sliding bench to push the wooden wedge under the jammed stock completely.

If it is impossible to release the jammed stock in this way, use the wooden wedge a tad bigger. Then
move the bench until the stock is released.
NOTICE:
-
Do not have a third person assisting in releasing the jammed stock.

Never attempt crushing the jammed stock by means of a tool. The motor block could crack in that
way.

All the safety regulations included in Chapter “ General Safety Regulations”, p.4 shall apply to any
action described above. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any personal and material
damage caused by unauthorised use of machine or a failure to observe safety regulations.
